I went backpacking after college, before I started working. I remember being in Switzerland, in the most beautiful part of the Alps and being so happy to have that time off.

I don't think I have a happiest ever story. I know I enjoyed life a lot more when I was a kid, between say: 5 and 10. Life was so much more simple back then. Unlike most people, I guess I figured out that life was only going to get harder the older I got, so I never wanted to grow up.

Can you pinpoint it?
no

5 year anniversary that was on October 16th of this year 🙂

when the person i had a crush on liked me back. a lot people are saying being in love made them happiest. why is that? is it because we are all so insecure, we need someone to like us in order to feel good about ourselves?

Being in love is a two way thing if it makes you happy. Being happy to give and receive love. That's what people would mean by it.

Maybe the reason you wrote that is due to you're own insecurities.

When I was in the movie theater with my girlfriend...not watching the movie. 😉

When i first held my nephew in my arms

Happiness.... well..... er..... whats happiness again?

After winning a Rugby tournament, where we had just taken out an enemy team 12/19. We got 14 to their 12, and it was going into the last minute or so. Our opponents were pounding on our try line, when somebody tackled a guy down and I got passed the ball a way to the left. I charged through, out sprinted their best sprinter, and scored a try. That was an incredible moment.

BF> "You're married? Shux." That coming from you may just as well mean "You STUPID woman, you believe in marriage?" 😄
And I'm separated at the moment... But that does not mean my wedding-day wasn't one of the happiest moments in my life 🙂

Capt> But does an easier life mean a happier one? How about the things we can achieve, strive for and dream about as adults?

Shugie99> No. It's because being in love is like being HIGH on something. And if it's mutual it's even BETTER! 🙂

Hm... Does this mean happiness involves something with other people in general?
