Yeah, I understand the fact that Burton movies lead to BTAS.And I totally appreciate it too.It's just that, IMO, at least, BTAS SURPASSED the Burton films in EVERY sense.
I said before and I'll say it again, the ONLY thing to complement while talking about Burton's approach to Batman was his intend of creating a dark tone to the character.His intend was right, his action wasn't.Bruce Timm saw through the flaws of the film and ammended them beautifully. And the changes Mr. Timm took with BTAS proves the inherent flaws in the films that inspired the series.
That is why we have the hunk of an animated Bruce Wayne that there is today.And yes, his eyebrows aren't ridiculously arched.😉
