MAES HUGHES DIED!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!! WHY?!!!!! He was soo funny, why is it that all of the good people are dying in anime? First Haru's dad, now this!! I'm sooo mad. He should'nt have died!! I will never forgive Envy for killing him. Stupid Humonculi!!!!! 🙁 😠 🙁

No it was envy, she turned into Hughe's wife and killed him, remember, plz correct me if i'm wrong.

no i distinctly heard envy say the name "sloth" which if you havent noticed is one of the 7 original sins that the homonculi are named after.
plus last time i checked envy can only transform but i dont remember her/him ever having any other abilities.

I cried! Damn the humonculi! I was like what the hell?! 🙁 Of all people! You guys know that ever since the Nina incident, things have been pretty depressing from then on. But there was always Hughes to add a little humour to it! 🙁 I was like... And then with his daughter crying...I was hoping he'd get back up or something, ya' know? Most depressing episode ever. I broke down... ❌ 😠 ❌

No, it was Lust that said sloth, when lust was about to kill hughes, envy came transformed as one of the leutenants and came to help, Lust said sloth then, then hughes was trying to use the phone when he dropped the picture of his daughter and then envy looked at it, then hughse looks at her and says that the real leutenant has a mole under her left eye,then envy puts it there and hughes stabs her and says that he has to get home to his wife and kid, then envy gets up, transforms into his wife and shoots him with a gun, believe me i know what the hell i'm talking about, see the episode again if you still think that i'm wrong.

Hey, I had taped it and watched it again. 🙁 It was even sadder the second time 'cause I made sure I tried to listen to every single thing. And something I noticed the second time that I didn't notice the first, was that the last thing Hughes did was try to fulfill what he told Roy, to send him to the top. The last thing he wanted to do was relay the information to Roy to send him to the top. If only Roy were in his office, if only Hughes didn't die...*sigh* ❌ This is such bull****! 😠 ❌

Isn't there supposed to be a movie coming out in 2006? Does that mean Hughes isn't gonna be in it? I was so excited, and I'm looking forward to looking at it anyways. But without Hughes? Come on! ❌

OMG, i love this show so much, but i missed that last 2 episodes so last night when i watched it i was totally lost. but it was so sad, i was cring when hughes died. u no they r right, the comic relif is always the first 2 go. he was so funny and now i'm pissed. did they really have to kill him? 😠 🙁

thats what i thought. why did he have to die? he was such a good dad, and now, Alicia doesn't have a dad, maybe when she gets older she'll avenge her father's death. that would be nice. 🙁

And how Al and Ed and Winry were talking about how Hughes' family was so perfect! And when she was asking why they were burying daddy! And when Winry told Ed he would have to tell Hughes thank you when they got back, I broke down! Because Hughes won't be there! ❌ 🙁

I know!! SAD!!! And then when Ed saw Hughes waving at him and looked out the window and Winry asked him what he saw and then he said it was nothing. I cried!
