So it seems that the episode that i saw last night was the beginning of new episodes.I didn't know if i was looking at a rerun or what cause it was only my third time watching it.I only watch it when i am flipping through channels and nothing was on or i was about to turn the channel and got into it.The only thing that got me into was when I played part of the game on a demo disc and in the game they show clips from the show, so while I was looking at cartoon network, this show came on and i was about to change it but i realized that the episode that was on was the part of the game that I had played so that was interesting and they even had the actual part that they put in the game in the show, so I thought it would be interesting too see the show of the part that I played in the game. Even though i played the demo a few months ago, I saw the show like a few nights ago. So that's what started me. Didn't really hook me though. What hooked me was the next show i watched a night or two after that one where the father had transmutated his wife into a chimero years ago and she died. So now he decides to do the same to his daughter. And when I found this out I was so mad and sad and depressed. It was so sad and I was crying and everything. I was actually mad at the cartoon character and the people who made the cartoon that decided to make it happen that way, Cause there was no reason for it to happen. The story would have been uneffected if they hadn't did this.
The little girl was transmutated with her pet dog. And later ran into this man that said she was a sin to nature and so he decided to put her out of her misery and all that was left when the full metal alchemist showed up to find her in an alley was a blood spatter against the wall in the shaper of the chimero(the girl and dog transmutated together), nothing else was left. The man had used some kind of alchemy or something to split them and kill them or something.I was furious and the show really left an impression on me.So I decided to watch the episode last night, not knowing until I just read yalls post that it was a new episode. That kind of got to me too, especially the little clip where they showed them trying to revive the mother and it showed the mother for a brief moment and it looked like she was in so much pain and she was being drawn back into death cause they had messed up. I almost cried again.
does anyone else think that "teacher" is a humaculi? cause i sure as hell do. for these reason, she cant got offended by the comment about having kids, and she has that one tattoo that all the other humaculi(spl?) have. but that is just my thoughts, anyone else think that this is so, please tell me your reasons.

Yes it is the start of the second season. What you saw is like the third show in the first season. You pick a good time to jump i the fisr season. It is a show that really grabs you and then you have to know what will happen.

I didn't watch the first season.
I had said that I first watched it a few nights ago and I have only watched 3 episodes all together thus far.
And one of them happen to be a rerun of the episode I mentioned above about the girl being transmutated into a chimero.
Well you are right about it pulling me in. I think I will watch it on a more regular basis now if I can keep up with it and remember to watch it. I wonder if all of the shows are heart wrenching.
Did anybody else feel the way I felt about the dad turning his wife and daughter into a chimera?
By the way, what did happen next after that episode?
I also thought it was convenient for me that the first episode of the second season that I saw had lots of clips from when they were children, so I got more information as to what had happened and how it happened and I kind of got caught up a little bit. Everything seems to be going good for me so far since I started so late.

Not all that gut wrenching but some are, it is one thing I like about the show. I think that one is the hardest though. As to what the next is in line of that episode, I would have to check and I can tell you later. They jump back into their childhood every so often, it helps you see how they got to where they are. The new episode, (on Sat. you would have to check the time because I do not know where you live,) jumped back to show who they met their teacher. If you have other questions just ask.

sorry jlred, i shouldve specified in what i meant.. you can by the ARM OF ED a cosplay item on ebay.... its hilarious, oh and an even more ingenious cosplay item called THE GLOVE OF THE MUSTANG can be bought on ebay. a piece of flint and a striker ae placed on the thumb and middle finger also a gas dip for your fingers to create a flame (the glove however is a fireretardant substance) , you can snap a flame like roy mustang, ebay sez the flame can hold for 10 to 15 seconds depending on the amount of gas dip u use....NIFTYNIFTYNIFTY

I did watch the new episode on Saturday. Or maybe that's not what you meant. I don't know if you are trying to let me know when it comes on or what. I did watch the new episode though. That's why I said it was good that I got to watch it cause it went back to their childhood and clairified some things and explained somethings.
You say they often jump back to their childhood. Are these clips from their childhood from past shows or are they memories that the characters are showing for the first time on the shows?
