No, it's not really celebrating our relationship with the Indians. Last night there was an episode of King of the Hill that put it nicely. Dale was asking John Redcorn if his people celebrated Thanksgiving, and his response was, "We did. Once." There were Indians at the first Thanksgiving (actually they far outnumbered the white folks), but nobody really pays attention to that part... It's become really commercialized. Good food though.
