Cardigan went to open it before Tim. "Hi." she says.

"oh sh!t" Tim said putting the gear away "what the hell are you doing in my house" tim said

Corbin started back.
"Wh.. What?!" he stuttered, "I only came to check on Ishiko..."

"She's fine. Resting now. You can see her." Cardigan said giving Tim a look.

Giving Tim a wide berth, Corbin headed to Ishiko's side,
"Ishiko," he whispered, "I'm sorry. It should have been me..."

Ishiko weakly put a hand on his and smiled. "You didn't do anything wrong." her voice trembling slightly.

Corbin took her hand in his,
"Maybe not," he said, "I feel guilty." A weak smile showed on his face.

Ishiko reached up to caress his cheek. "Don't." she said. "I'll be fine."

"If it revived her, maybe it revived Cole." Cardigan said. "Can you stay and watch over her?"

"i do live here" tim said "the only problem is we can't find the onyx shards" tim added

Cardigan hung her head. "Then all hope is lost."

"not really the onyx is strong and one shard will give great strength so maybe this usami guy crushed it to get stronger by placing shards in his minions bodies" tim explained

"Maybe." Cardigan said still shocked by Usami's betrayal.

"hey it's not him it was whoever revived him" tim said

"The problem is we have no way of finding out who did."

"ya"

Cardigan sighed and sat down. "Why couldn't it have been me instead of them."

Corbin smiled gently, removing Ishiko's hand from his cheek,
"You need to rest," he told her, watching until her eyes closed. When they were shut he stood and faced the others, his eyes cold and hard,
"Cardigan, I'll come and help you. I don't know this Cole, but if he is a friend of Ishiko then I'll help him. And she needs her revenge."

Cardigan nodded. "Okay, good."

"So... What's your plan?"

Cardigan sighed. "There has to be a way to find him. If he is using the onyx shards, the other gyms can make them activate giving off a energy light only scouts will be able to see."
