Really? I tried to diffuse the glow as much as I could, but I think that it adds a certain type of ambiance.
I'm not good at making sigs or anything but ya, it makes a few of the symbols kind of hard to read. don't get rid of the glow though its rly cool looking. I think its what really makes your sig.

i'm going to start expirimenting with 2 layers now :>

i always end up with white fuzzies around my object when working with any sort of multiple layers. any tips?

I'd recommend GIMP. It's the Safeway brand of Photoshop.
