I've heard a long time ago that Grievous is supposed to play a big part in it, but I haven't really heard much on the subject and I don't remember the source so I don't know if its really valid or not.

GG only got started at the end of the 2nd series, so hes most probably gonna have a big part (bigger) part

It follows the prolouge right before the space battle in revenge of the sith and general grievious does play bigger role.

I heard somewhere that there is part of an episode where it shows GG being trained by Dooku in lightsaber skills.
