Panther has never shown up Wolverine. He has thrown Wolverine once, which obviously didn't hurt one bit. Wolverine has shown up Panther once or twice including Contest of Champions where he would have killed Panther had Ben Grimm not come along. Panther wont be slicing anything off Wolverine considering Panther wont be able to counteract Wolverine's greater reach. And again show me Panther using his anti-metal claws to do anything against Kraven's blade please. Panther has been beaten by Cap. Wolverine would slaughter him in a straight up no prep fight.

The thing is he didn't press them gently. He smashed at them with his sword.
And of course pressure points should work on Logan, but anyone stupid enough to try would most likely loose a hand.
And what's up with all the downgrading of Logan's fighting skills? He's supposed to be one of the absolute best fighters in Marvel.
