House on Haunted Hill

Im sure theres a thread on this, but it would not show up.
Im serious, I love this movie. I know loadsa people hate it, and I dont really like the end, but the gothic, scary atmosphere has not really been matched in recent years. (With the exception of 28 Days Later)
Has anyone got any pics of the window that blows up, just before it blows up? One of my friends really likes weird gothic art, so I've been trying and failing to find her a picture.

umm play the dvd on your PC and take a screenshot ??

havent got the dvd 🙁

you'r talking about the original right? been awhile since I saw either, but if you talking about remake count me out of this thread

I thought the end was pretty hilarious. He got teh skeleton puppet to push his wife into the acid...

..yeah.

Nah, the remake. Sorry, Im gonna offend some people here, but its much better.

I like it...........ending blows........actually alot of things blow in the movie.........still a fun watch every great now and again. It's Chris Kataan's only good performance in a movie, ever.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I enjoyed the music very much.

Great soundtrack, I think the only major let down in the film is that stupid evil ghost thing. And the civil war dressed ghost that saves Eddie at the end.

civil war dressed ghost?

The ghost at the end that saves them was Pritchett (Chris Kataan) who had just been killed by the "evil" thing about 10 minutes before.

Yes the Don Davis score is wonderful, I enjoyed the remake, great atmosphere.

Sorry ED, dont wanna argue with you, but Prichett did not save them.
A ghost in an old aged soldier uniform pulls the metal plate back from the window. That is at the bit where she is outside the window and Eddie is trapped inside by the large metal plate.

i thought the ending was dissapointing but, the rest of the movie was great

I liked House Of Haunted Hill too. But I like Thirteen Ghosts better.
