There i was last night, watching the Pantera home vids. I come online this afternoon and 90% of my contacts have there user name with * RIP Dimebag* Im ****ing shook up about it. Theres a Tribute night at The Gate in Swansea on friday night if anyone lives round there. Nothing but Pantera and damage Plan all night long. It's been reported that the shooter got into an arguement earlier that day, and was harassing "Dimebag" at a local tattoo shop, accusing him of being the reason Pantera broke up etc.
So, because he thought Dimes broke up a band that was sadly kind of losing thei edge in the stretch, he knocks off a guitar great. Premeditated, no less.
I'm totally shocked about this, its just not sinking in for me. Dimebag was supposed to just exist as long as he could keep banging out those awesome riffs. He's not supposed to be gone.
We'll miss you dude. You were one of the best guitarists that ever lived.
