It's sort of like England is America's parent. Without the UK there probably would've never been a USA. But now that there is the child has surpassed the parent.

oh and as i said above...half the british were already fightin a war with spain at the time....the french played a crucial role in helpin usa to victory...so lets get that straight...

Uhm, America isn't kicking anyone's ass right now, they are being held back by desperate people with one tenth the firepower.

Also America hasn't won one major conflict on their own, they have always had allies to help. For those that believe that America won WW2 in Europe, I'm sorry, read your history books. Russia pretty much caved in Germany's forces and on the western front the decline of germany's army was apparent to all. Granted the USA's late entrance into the war made it finish a little quicker, but it was more through industrial power than military might.

As powerful as some you may think the US is at the moment, they cannot stand alone, and would do best to be kind to all their allies considering the current global political situation.

how could it be bad to be English, a land full of culture, tradition and a wealth of history. and also whether people choose to accept it or not, alot of power aswell!

im pretty sure, if the UK had put the amount of effort the US has put into Iraq, the war would be sorted by now... altho maybe smaller, its a much more effective fighting machine
