You aren't going to jail.

And you definitly won't go to jail if you're a minor. This was an accident that didn't get cleaned up. There's no legal matter involved...only moral issues that need to be attended to.

Guys. I already told everyone here, and it made me feel a little bit better, so that is as far as I am going to go with telling anyone. I'm still really nervous though because the kid is in critical condition and could still die.
