John Lennon: A Tribute to a legend

I was going to post this thread on his deathdate, December 8th, but my computer crashed, so here I am now. I'm 16 years old...born after the life and death of john, so many people say i dont know what it means to be a TRUE lennon fan. I went to New York City on the 8th, stood at the foot of the Dakota with hundreds of others, lit a candle and placed a rose on the Imagine circle, and cried.
Now tell me you think i dont know what it means to be a true fan.
So i will leave it at that. I wish the both of us a happy very very belated birthday (October 9th, yes we have the same birthday) and hope that he has found happiness wherever he is now.
I love you John Lennon, and i know that you will live forever in the hearts of your fans.

Agree with you, John Wiston Lennon was a poet and a great man, for not talking that he was one of the best music composer and performer of all time. The day that an stupid and sick guy shooted John Lennon, he almost killed the music. Lennon forever.

here here , john was without a doubt the greatest musician ever , no one has or will ever come close to having the amount of talent and natural ability that this man possessed , john is a true living legend and i will forever love and cherish him , his life , his music & his legacy

John Lennon was a great musician, he was full of Joy and life until an idiot decided to impress Jodie Foster by shooting one of the greatest living people. Q magazine has honoured John Lennon with the Ultimate legend, so he is never going to be forgotting.

I most definitely am in love with john Lennon he is one of the best artist ever and i love his solo album happy Christmas Imagine and darling boy most definitely my favorites it is so sad ding that he was killed hey have you herd about the new movie that they are planing to make its called Chapter 27" and its about john Lennon and mark David Chapman as the true fans know him as the killer of john Lennon so hey i think on DEC 8 th or 9th depending in what country you live in i think we should have a memorial service for him i know he is not dead because LEGENDS CAN NEVER DIE AND JOHN IS definitely A LEGEND AND HE IS SO AMAZING AND ORIGINAL YOU GOT TO LOVE HIM.

Jaden, dont post more lies and false things. John Lennon was one of the best music writters ever. His talent was amazing. His wife was and is an idiot, yeah. But it doesnt matter in Lennon's legend. He was , and he will be one of the most important music figures ever.

^ totally agree with that statement way to make sure no one and i mean no one makes fun of John Lennon or any Beatle for that matter.

It's not like they were saints. They made good music for their time, that's it.

Nope, totally desagree here. They were one of the most important bands ever,not only a pop band.

If you say that lennon is overrated that is at least doutful because Lennon was a great music composer and musician who did wonderful works with the beatles and in his solo carreer. Also, he was talented as hell. Heroin user? Dont be hypocrite, wich rock or pop star wasnt a drug user? So what? To deny the great talent of John Lennon and the beatles is useless, their legacy and talent and songs are there, in the music history.
