The Street Fighter characters have way to many powerhouses like Oro (a guy thats a thats over a 140 years old, he comes from Japanese ancestry. This guy is so powerful he seals his power and fight with one arm. He defeated Ryu with little effort and hes now training him. So it will be a Street Fighter 4), Urien (his skin is made out of Iron and he posess incredible energy), Necro (a humanoid weapon with superhumanly elastic body, a strange built-in power generator that allows him to use eletrical current, and a cybernetic computer in his brain helps give him superhuman fighting abilities), Twelve (the Ultimate humanoid weapon designed to be a stronger version of Necro, it has a fluid, shape shifting body. With its protean body, and Twelves unique combat style is based on constantly changing forms to become the optimal weapon for any given situation. It also have the ability to copy every aspect of an opponent inclulding appearance and abilities, giving it unimaginable power). 🙂

I think Mortal Combat takes this. I think you guys overate Akuma just to much. I think scorpion could take him out. next you have the likes of sang tsung you can take your soul. Yes Akuma can eat souls, but no one has mastery over that department like Tsung. Then you have Sub-Zero who would freeze almost everyone and break them. I mean I think Mortal Combat just has to many people with to many different types of powers. Like reptile spits acid and turns invisible. You have sonya whose kiss is deadly. Next you have the cyborg squad all of whom can launch miisles plus can self destruct. Then you have the sub bosses. Like goro, motaro, and the like. I mean they can cream the sub booses of SK. I haven't even mentioned the likes of Shao Kahn, Raiden, and the knew boss the Dragon King. I just think these guys would be overkill.
in variety of power street win this by far .Sub zero is a master of ice but Gill is the supreme mast of ice and of fire , and when these two elements are used together like ying and yang it becomes holy energy as we can see in his special , if you want someone strong pick up the likes of oro , i know he is a little old but he is A aged hermit whose powers gave him an extremely long life and power , he can power up his streng by just thinking of it , shang tsung , dragon king and shao kahn are the ones called god like , but in street fighter there are also this kind of guy , the only difference is that they werent born like this , they had to work hard to aqcuire their inner power , different from kanh , dragon king or shang(who just keep stealing others force) , but oro , gill and akuma fought all their lifes to obtain their powers , it would be a great fight if kang was alive , he was the person from mk that i respected most , but he died in deadly aliance . And as dvampire said , you can see there is a lot of different kind of power in street , but he only wrote a small part of it , and (if you forgive me dvampire) not near from the strongest one of street universe except from oro

Oly- "Any?" and people talk here about overpowering MK characters over SF.
I dont see Ryu taking Raiden out for example. Tsung with his soul stealing ability would have a good shot. And so on. Both the universes have cool characters.
