well ppl should learn that it isn't because they perceieve a remark about another person as funny that the person who the remark was aimed at of based upon will find it funny.

True! ✅ But that doesn't stop other people from finding the intended humour funny.

it can very well be that other ppl found that remark funny but that is totaly besides the point.

The point is that if you make a (funny) remark about someone and that person doesn't find it funny you should be able to accept that and you should understand that that person can get upset or mad about it.

I personaly try to avoid those remarks as much as I can simply because well I care about my friends, so I think about most things I say before I say them

To avoid such an incident, ensure that the remark you say is not intended to be hurtful. Put a smile before and a j/k or something.

that is indeed usefull cyclops but in the case of me and syren that still wouldn't have helped to keep me calm.

even if it is ment for fun I will not have certain ppl talk to me in a certain way.

Before I allow anyone to say such things about me, they have to have earned my respect which syren has not.

For example it was the 'Get a sense of humour.... 99p from Woolies' that I found amusing, but not for the reasons it was stated.
It reminded me of a comment some old friends of mine always used to throw at each othe - Get a life... 99p from Woolie, Get a brain... 99p from Woolies ect...

Anyways. It is human nature to feel even the slightest amount of hurt due to a hurtful comment, insult, etc. However, you must keep in mind, sarcasm is hard to emphasise on the internet.
