MAgneto actually was peaceful and believed in humanity (even after his experience during ww2), until his daughter was killed, and he was prevented from saving her.

what? in x1 they didn´t said half his story, you simply sound like a person that knows nothing about magnus.
and more interesting villains? who? to me Magneto and Doom are the best marvel villains.

well magneto's past was not just sumed up with him being sent to the concentration camps a lot of other stuff happened after that will also contribute to magneto being a villian.

and also i just figured out that they are gonna show wolverine.

reading some of Magneto's history, it sounds pretty cool.

Once, when an employer refused Magneto his due pay, attacked him unknowingly by making a crowbar fly at him.

This is the first known time Magneto's powers surfaced. Later that day, the building in which he was living caught fire. He successfully rescued his wife, and when he went back for his daughter, the same employer Magneto attacked prevented him from going in. With the help of police, Magneto was beaten. When he heard his daughter's scream, he once again unknowingly attacked his oppressors. This time, he killed everybody in the scene but Magda.

Exactly. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love X-men but I think they have some other characters that would do a much "better" job at a spin off.

The Magneto Movie. .. . .I dunno. Nothing's really "clicking" for me. The guy's kind of old, not that that has anything to do with it and such, but I keep picturing this movie with the cartoon Magneto in the Animated Series. 😮

but now i think magneto can be a good spin off of x-men.

The original article said that they weren't sure if Ian would be in the film at all because the story revolved around his younger years.

Depends on how far they go in the telling of Magneto's life, if they go far enough then we might get to see Ian towards the end of the film.
