I can't find a poetry forum, prolly cause i am totally new to forums. Shame on me. Right. I like to write poetry and would like feedback, since I don't like to let folks where I live read it. Is for a girl, of course. ugh, man am i a hopeless Romantic...

My Lady D'winter, Ma cheri,
Oh how my heart longs to hear from thee,
The prettiest smile, the kindest eyes,
Those jems that see past my disguise,
This Knight Errant longs to return,
And rebuild the bridge he may have burned,
My Lady, My Grace, My Protectee,
Only the Lord knows of how I miss thee.
My Lady, My Arshé, My Briar Rose,
I can still remember that perfect pose,
Your Raven Tresses falling down your back,
Your Delicious skin, pale, no lack,
No loss of value, nay Much more!
I can remember you clearly, like before,
I remember your scent, I remember your smile,
I remember of how we danced awhile,
Of holding you close, kissing your brow soft,
Of all the notes we traded most oft,
Of all the tears we shed for eachother,
Never your love, more like your brother,
I held you close under my wings,
Those guards God gave me to protect things,
I watched over you, my self-appointed quest,
And I pray you are enjoying this life and the rest,
So please God, my King, let us meet again,
So I can hold you close, out in the soft rain.
