is the world worth saving?

personally, i think i should not, my time on earth is limited and i know the world will still spin in the next 100 years.

so i say: save yourself.

I would like to save it, although in all honesty I think human kind needs a bit of a shake up. As individuals we can be ok, but as a species....

But as to me, I don't think just because I am a mortal who will not have to worry to much about the future that it some how free's me of all responsibility to the world of the future. I will have kids on day (Maybe) and I would like to shuffle of the mortal coil with at least some hope that they will be able to live long happy lives...

-yeah, about the kids, i m leaning in favor of not having any. why put a child in a ****ed up world? things are getting complicated and people are choosing to be dumb, most any ways.

the only way to save earth is to eliminate "rules"

why pay for things that are made from the earth,
why draw lines in the dirt and start wars when they are crossed?
why spend money on technology when none of us are going to walk on mars?
why cry in a time of hate, and misguided thoughts?

Thats us as a species, not really the fault of the planet, but as a messed up people. The problem of course is getting rid of the rules. People would fight it, as anarchy would exist without them, or so we assume, and anarchy, in most ways, doesn't look particularly nice.

the world as you say is not the problem, and i agree.

i guess some people, no forget that, i know some people are raised with different principles. ****ing with some rules no one wants to change. its best to believe there is no promise laced with hope that could please everyone.

I wouldnt say that the world is in a state of needing to be saved. You could say that the human race is in need of becomming aware of the Earth. As long as there are polotics, the Earth is going to continue slowly falling apart, but without polotics, you have no order, and without order people cannot live side by side. So what is more important to you? Order, or the enviorment?

well we as a species should look how we can survive longer and at the same time spread our power but for now we need the earth so we should keep it in a decent condition till it is not necessary for us anymore.

We as a species need to disolve the concepts of nations and unify as a whole, as humanity, and from there I think things could get better.

well that is true of course bit I think that the only goal a species can have is to sprread out and in our case since we call ourselves (for what insanee reason ever) intelligent to find knowledge, but sure the individuum has pretty much no real purpose or value.

i sometimes think that religeons were created by some evil group just to stop every human being on the planet from co existing

ever thought of things NOT human related?
we screw up the world big time and then some go "it's not worth saving" or "it's not my problem"... what about the animals? the plants? etc. they haven't done anything wrong and get punished for our stupidity

As long as we can co-exist that's great but humans are more important to me since I am a human myself then any other species, look for example this o´zone shit that is stupid of us it kill huimans and animals that we could eat its unneccessary but if it comes down to either extinct another species or my own would get in trouble I don'Yt care to much about the animals.
As long as everything is fine with our lives we ca think about animals and plants (thats mmy opinion)

we don't co-exist with them, we butcher them because we want more territory or just dump our wastes there.
the only fair thing that humankind can ever do is to kill off every human in the hope that the earth will recover from them... 'cause the only one that made sure that the earth got ****ed was the "most intelligent creature"
