Stay at home or work?

Would you reather work or stay at home?

I put this in the dession thread because I thought everyone would like to argee or disargee on this.Personally if the father has a great job there is no need for the mom to go to work.
My mom and dad both worked and I was staying over a friend of there's house. But that was because they were not married, and were teens at the time.
So what do you think?JM 💃

i would have a lot of slaves and do nothing 😐

^ yeah, that one

Its all personal choice. I would prefer to work, unless you are talking about when one is a parent, in which case I would be happy to sit down and discuss it with my partner, as it were, and work something out, if they wanted to work, I am fine with that.

If you are just asking the age old question of work or don't work, I still like doing things. So I would work, in one way or another, if there was an opportunity.

depends on what kind of work were talking about..now if its fun, I would want to go to work and get out of the house. but if the work is boring and hard I would want to stay home and sleep.

Of course I'll rather work since I need money for shelter, food, water, electricity, and bills. I know that working can be lousy especially if you hate your job and/or people you work with but that's life. I rather do something than being in the house all the time.

Well if it's a job I like then work.

I'd rather work than be a useless human being depending on someone else for survival.....
Marriage doesn't last forever, if you can't support yourself, no one will...

Gotta pay the bills so I go with work.

Bills aside...

I would rather work because I like the social environment. I like talking to different people, and the feeling you get from doing something of worth at your job really can't be replaced by the feeling of being a lazy oaf who plays video games or watches soap operas all day long.

I'd work, cos i love to socialise!

This is an excellent point, though I must comment that unless you work in a service field, these "different people" start turning into the "same people" after a while.

You're completely right.

I used to work at a Body Shop as a sales manager and everyday you get different customers with different occupations and stories to tell...especially about the accidents they get into. Every customer was different with only one common similarity.....NO ONE is happy when they get into a car accident, so they were almost always in a bad mood.

Now i work as a computer programmer for some internet company and all i do is sit in a cubicle all day long talking to no one, or just the same old people.

I'm also 5 years younger than anyone at my work so it's kind of hard to relate with everyone.

Me as well. 😄

My girlfriend and I work from home, so..boo ya..and stuff. 😱

I would get absolutely nothing done at home except catch up on Sportscenter and die from gradual coffee overdose, but then again, it sounds more tempting than my current hour-each-way commute every day, especially with gas prices.

S...sp....sportscenter?? 😱

marry me...cry

I'd like to be able to stay at home with the Kids - that would be awesome; get up early to get them ready, take them to school: do some housework and shopping and watch movies, then collect them from school and feed them etc.
