Hmmm.... I'll have to bypass the cinema experience then in favour of the DVD version's Xmas release.....
......Yeah right.....
But Dammit.......... 🙁
Seriously though, if GL is suddenly in favour of releasing something that is different to his vision of how things should be in his eyes like the Yoda departure scenes on DVD (Except possibly as a deleted scene) then will he then release the originals of the original trilogy and....the Holiday Special....? 😉 Can't see it myself... 🙁
i dont konw how much u could possibly show of dagobah...buuuttt maybe like a shot from the back of yoda walking away from the pod and into like a dark part of the marshy area..then fade to another scene..(like at the end of ROJ when it jumped around from planet to planet to show what was going on)..or if they find out about blue glowies in this episode maybe have him talk to one ? i dont know how else they could really end things with yoda...would kinda suck if they jsut had him saying hes goign off to hide somewhere cya later...for a jedi with his seniority he should get a good farewell..but im sure they'll think of something..i hope

Actually, I always thought the Dagobah scene would feel kinda tacked on. What would Yoda do when he got there? The other planets all have a reason.
I agree. I actually didn't know that dagobah was going to be in the film.
On a positive note, I think it still allows dagobah to have its grand introduction in ESB.
Just hungered for a escape pod ejection shot or something...
Yeah I agree that Yoda biulding the foundations to his hut and stuff like that 'd be overdoing it, but for future viewers of the 1-6-in-order saga, it'd be better than leaving a great big question mark over "Hang on a minute, one minute Yodas on the Tantive 4, the next hes gone, where'd
he go".....?
Once you've revealved the origins of Luke and Leia, Destroyed the mystery of the force with Midichlorian explainations and ruined the enigma of the Sith with Plaguaris etc, you may as well explain what happened to one of the pivotal principal characters of the movie with a brief shot of a pod ejecting over a planet.... (Even if the planet wasn't named to keep it:
(A)Reasonably mysterious for 1-6 viewers
(B)Non-insulting for 4-6 then 1-3 veterans...)
(C)From being badly edited... 😉
....Unless they edit it so that the Tantive can be taken to go on to drop
Yoda off AFTER dropping off Obi-wan, perhaps with some (Maybe dialogue)reference to the fact......

We will just have to wait and see. How can you be calling it badly edited? You havn't seen the movie. Maybe Yoda says something, or who knows
Yeah.... Thats it...!!
It sounds like you're seeing the same picture.... 🙂
Pod shot...! Upper atmoshere shot....!
"Haven't see the movie"
Quite right. Didn't mean to sound so presuming as that....!
Don't get me wrong.... 🙂 (Although I can understand you thinking that that from how I sounded........)
But all im saying is that for someone so prominent as Yoda in Ep3,
just not mentioning at all what happens to him at the end would seem to me.....well.....neglectful.....
Call it bad editing...bad...scripting...bad whatever...
Just seems to me a bit of a crime...... 😉

Is it that big of a deal? I mean I would like to see this as much as the next fangeek and as far as I'm concerned 4 hours would not be too long a running time for this flick. But we all know what happens to Yoda. I'd rather he cut this rather than part of the duel or something.
Yeah that's a good point. I just don't want him to cut too much stuff out of the movie. Since is the final installment, it'd be great to have this film be as long as possible. I know cutting out Dagobah won't make much of a difference in the running time, but still.

EPISODE III TERNIAN REPORT: Trap, Bargain, Rebellion
February 16 2005
"Fool! Do you think the fear you feel is mine?" - Darth Sidious, Return of the Sith.
After Vader (formerly Anakin Skywalker) destroys the Jedi Temple, he heads to the apartment of his wife, Padme.
Vader clearly states that he has put down a Jedi Rebellion and that Mace Windu and other Masters tried to assassinate Palpatine. He admits that he considers Obi-Wan dead.
He tries to convince Padme that the Jedi are traitors and have to be "dealt with." However, Vader tells Padme that she is safe as long as she keeps away from the rebellious Senators.
Padme asks how she is safe.
Vader reveals that she is safe because she is with him. He discussed it with Palpatine who has granted her protection as long as she stays out of the Delegation of Two Thousand.
Padme is surprised that Palpatine knows of the marriage.
Vader reveals that Palpatine has always known. He was able to find out through friends in Theed's clergy.
Vader states "I need to go to Mustafar to finally end this war."
His last goodbye is "I love you, wait for me..."
It's all overwhelming for Padme but her love for him blinds her judgement..
