Bishies, short, I assume, for bishounen, or "beautiful men." Tenchi and James are not bishounen, at least in my judgement. The men in Revolutionary Girl Utena (for example) are.

Bishies are usually another word for bishounen, which is used to describe hott anime men. Bishounen - 'beautiful men' or Shoujo 'beautiful women'.
