How could they!?

I work part-time at a local resturant. They do well and get alot of money, yet all of the staff are underpaid. e.g. I SHOULD be on £3 an hour, if I work 10 hours I get £30, if I work 8 hours I get £20! Usually I loose out by only £1 or £2. Which builds up. However, tips make up for this low pay. Yet n-one's recieved them for five months! Six for me as I was on holiday last time.

Now for the really piss Spike off bit, the bit which has pushed me over the edge and is going to force me to do something drastic if I don't get what I'm owed soon. We finally got tips yesterday - which was supposed to contain our Xmas bonus too. I got £27........................£27 for 6 months of underpaid work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what part of that was my Xmas bonus!!!!!? That's barely a months tips!!!!!!

Now I don't know if this was just me, but even if it is it is still too much!!! There is no way I am going to work for a damned extortionist!!! Believe me I will get my own back, one way or another...........anyone got any ideas?

Or maybe put tabasco sauce in to every dish you serve....

You can complain, especially if the resteraunt is part of a franchise, as minimum wage is 4.50 an hour.

Talk to managment! Try that first. And if youve already done that, ad nothing has happened, then find another job, believe me, revenge in your case is a stupid idea.

Well I was actually thinking of doing as much work as my pay reflects...in other words just showing up, do nothing, it they complain then I'll ***** back to them. I've just found out it wan't just me, so others may do the same. I'm in the process of looking for another job so that's fine, I just want them to realise that if they don't treat their staff right they won't have any.
