NEW INFO from NICK GILLARD

Some ROTS stuff from today's chat:

- His cameo will be in hologram form. Very brief. There will be more of him in the game.

- He owns the only yellow lightsaber (prop) in existance.

- He worked on a small sequence with Natalie in ROTS. So she has some sort of action sequence.

- Palpatine is ambidextrous with his saber. He's THAT good.

- There will be some truly shocking saber moves. (But those were not his words. He just answered yes to that.)

- He helped Rob Coleman out with some of the Yoda fight moves.

- The Obi-Wan/Anakin duel is rarely on flat ground.

- Sidious' abilities are beyond anything we've experienced.

- Sidious has a style that's constantly changing, but he did it in a way that you'll never get the better of him. The style is ambigious - he'll fight less than you and draw you in. You're a sucker if you think you're going to better him.

- He was asked if Sidious a Master of the Lightsaber? Or is he more of a "Force Lightning" guy? He said Sidious is a master of every weapon and every style.

- Grievous and his bodyguards were all played by my guys and then painted over by ILM.

- No Gungan Jedi. (whew!)

- The Anakin/Dooku duel is much longer than their duel in AOTC. And it's much more intense. And Christopher did as much as he could.

- Anakin does NOT use force lightning in the film. He's all sword. That is only for the game.

- In Episode III Mace has to use every ounce of his ability, which he really didn't have to do in Episode II. He has to fight for his life this time.

- The Jedi Youglings DO have a fight sequence in ROTS. He did some training with them.

- OB1 will briefly use 2 sabers in ROTS.

- We will see Ewan's patented Obi-Wan lightsaber twirl in ROTS, and we might see some new ones too.

- When asked if Anakin will throw Padmé on a wall before he turns to evil, he said no, but he may drive her up the wall. (whatever that means)

- He did NOT work with Aayla Secura on any saber moves.

- Mousy's character "Bene" is young but remarkably skilled with a lightsaber.

- Besides heads and arms, legs will get lopped off too.

- He worked intensively with young Jett (Lucas' son) for a few weeks.

- No SW Kid in ROTS.

- And finally, when asked if Anakin will go down swinging, or does he resign himself to defeat? He said he goes down like the biggest swinger in town.

Blimey. That all sounds good...! 🙂 So... The younglings definitley do some fighting...! This'll be interesting fodder for the debate of "Will we see the younglings dispatched on screen"!
Sidious info was fascinating too. So he actually fights with his light saber in either hand... Cool. Its starting to look as if the darksiders have a monopoly on that style (With Anakin being able to do that too).
Palps sounds like a counterpuncher, a style which always if successfully employed always requires greater defensive edge and anticipatory skills verging almost on the psychic.. This would make him a true master in itself- especially with an unbeaten record..! 🙂 Good to that he sounds adaptive as well as a predictable fighter is eventually going to become a beaten fighter.

All sounds good to me 😄 As for 'driving padme up the wall' well maybe Anakin uses the force during this encounter, becomi8ng more and more reliant on the darkside throughout the film.

I know what the saying 'means' in general use. I have a feeling NG was being cryptic and was basically hoping people would 'think out of the box' as to what It meant.

How does a stunt-coordinator know all these things? For example, No Gungan Jedi. How would he know that GL hasn't put one in the council or somewhere?

So From the info NG just provided about Sidious abilities is this why Vader must obey his master because Sidious is far beyond in power then anyone else and Vader would never dare to try to take him out or is just Anakin became weaker after falling in lava and became mechanical and wasn't strong enough to whip Sidious ass later on because I honestly feel Anakin would want to be the master not the apprentice?

Sounds like no matter what sidious can't be stopped.

But remember th he did get stopped, in ROTJ
