Okay... descriptions:
Barda: (well at least i think its him) black hair, with a beard... kind reminds me of a cartoonized aragon, he's wearing alot brown
Jasmine: green eyes, darkish hair, that looks greenish in this pic, wearing kinda mismatched clothing(creamy colors- light ones, contrasting with her dark hair and tanned skin)...Filli looks from this angle like a hairy kirby with a tail (lime-green color i think), Kree looks great...
And Lief is....

Yep Lief, is Blond
(I personally never pictured him as a blond, brown or black mabye...)
He also has blue eyes, Most of his clothes are hidden by the DQ logo, but his magic cloak is at present a sea blue... he also seems to be wearing a blue tunic
I'm assuming that I am correct in what they look like, as they are the only three humans in the picture (pic consistes of a man, girl, with a funny little creature on her shoulder, a black bird just above her head and boy)

Oh, and sorry folks, DQ comes out in 2007, they either had a problem, or just want to finish the entire first (and mabye 2nd and 3rd)series before putting it on air.

Blond is defiantly surprising for Lief, and for some reason I kept forgetting Barda had a beard, I always though he had shorter hair, but I guess if he looks a little like Aragon it is pretty long for guy standards. Jasmin on the other hand sounds a lot like how I pictured her, except perhaps more grey-ish clothes then cream.
After a few more moments of reserech i have come to discover that i was correct in my assumption, the pic i saw was the first reveled picture for the DQ anime series...
I still can't believe Lief is blond.
I always thought he was a brunette. Guess Ms Rodda wants to fight back against all the dumb blond jokes.
Cause you have to admitt, Lief is mostly the brains of the group.

aside from the pic you will hopefully get (it looks ages for it to show up on my pc, but after it eventually came up, it was fine) there isn't anything else on the site
Lief the brains....I don't know, Barda always seemed to be a mixture of smarts and brawn, to be fair Leif did have his moments but most were because of the Belt, at least in the first series. I agree with you about Jasmine being the Legolas type, a scout if anything.
Check the link, by the way, seems very nice, I think blond could suit Lief nicely. Barda looks a little older then I expected him to be and I see nothing wrong with Jasmine really.
