Should Deltora Quest become a Movie

Heheheh stoned, I'll have to look at that book again Gazzar. I think the ruby paled when there was danger, the emerald dimmed when there was a broken vow I believe, not sure what else. We're on topic? Tsk then I shall start us on the slow road to derailment...eventually. Anywho who do you think would win if; Saphira, at the same strength she was at the end of Eragon, fought the Lapis-Lazuli dragon, Fortuna. Clash of the blue dragons!

well considering i haven't read Eragon I'd have to say the Lapis-Lazuly dragon would win ehheheh.

And i got the book from the library, where else?

Okay, a question was raised about the powers of the Emerald... and just for fun, I'd thought I'd just add the powers of all the other gems most of this is copied straight out of 'Return to Del' pages 75-76.

Diamonds.... give courage and strength, protect from pestilence and help the cause of true love...

The Amethyst... calms and sooths. It changes color in the presence of illness, loses color near poisoned food or drink...

The Topaz protects its wearer from the terrors of the night. it has the power to open doors into the spirit world. it strengthens and clears the mind.

The Emerald... dulls in the presence of evil, and when a vow is broken. it is a remedy for sores and ulcers and an antidote to poison..

The Ruby... grows pale in the presence of evil, or when misfortune threatens its wearer. it wards off evil spirits, and is an antidote to snake venom.

The Opal... has the power to give glimpses of the future, and aid those with weak sight... The Opal has a special relationship with the Lapis Lazuli, the heavenly stone, a powerful talisman. (I have a necklace made of these!!!)

Heh cool, the necklace better be shiny, all good things are shiny. Dang it! I really want to get Return to Del, haven't read it in ages!

Lapis Lazuli gems... are sort of shinny... and they are a pretty blue color... a deep blue

Cool, deep blue is always good. Looks like you've got a lot of luck on your side, hurrah for talismans!

Has anyone read the 'Rowan of Rin' series? and if so are they good??

*waves lots of shiny objects around to lure craft out of his poket dimention*

*Flips Gazzar off via video* Yeah I have glanced at Rowan of Rin, though Ihaven't read the other books, I may get around to them after Eldest.

what did you think of them??

It was alright, interesting, it's been years since I last looked at them though...

does anyone besides me know how to "flip someone on??"

nope, how?

the middle finger means, f-you...and we all know what the meaning of that word is, and so if you put the middle finger DOWN, and leave the rest up, it means "you have nothing to F with" (it would mean nothing to females)

Heh, well seeing as I was directing it at Gazzar, either one will do. On a lighter note I have almost finished Eldest, WOO! And by the looks of things there will still be at least another book in the series, huzzah!

if Eragon was blue, and Eldest was red.....will the next one be....Purple-Flurple??!!!

Perhaps black, for Galbatorix's dragon, since Eragon was blue for Saphira and Eldest was red for Glaedr, makes sense, sorta.

...heh my bad, red wasn't for Glaedr after all, stupid Thorn...

rowen of rin is a very good series.... also another marvoulous piece of work written by the lovely miss emily rodda

Heh, funnily enough I was just reading that book in the library the other day, I was thinking of reading the Rowan series after I finished Eldest, which I have just done. Damn good series that is and the movie will be good too, I hope...

............my friend keeps on calling me an ugly Granos...crybaby...now I have to burn her...
