Like my good fiend, Bardock, I know very little about Deltora Quest. What I do know, I have learned here. For example, I know that there's a question about making it into a piece of shit, and that the story-line involves a masturbating dragon who occasionally fornicates with a long-dead sheep. I like that premise, but the rest I have no time for. I mean, who's gonna believe that a bunch of elves are living in our brains?!?! It couldn't possibly be true. Unless it was true, and then it would be true.
So, anyway...Deltora Quest. Respect the dragon. Don't make this into a piece of shit. Live the dream!

For your information the storyline for the first series.... is basically a trio of heroes who go on a quest to gather the gems of the belt of deltora, which is a magical item which repels evil. They are doings this so the Heir of Deltora (Prince/ Princess) which has gone into hiding can regain their throne and rid the land of the evil Shadow Lord, who is a sorcerer, bent on world domination.
There is NO 'masturbating dragon' Ya Krunk'd Floo.
Although there are dragons in the last series.... but they are intelligent creatures, who have been in a dormant sleep to try and save their dying race from extinction. (As they are the only creatures alive with enough power to be able to destroy four magical objects which is killing the land).
Again, unless your actually interested in Deltora Quest, stop posting on this thread and go do something more meaningful then pissing off us....

the shadow lord is evil because he's evil.
he enslaves people, does frankinstinish experiments on people and etc and so forth. The list is a bit long.
In short.... he's Emily Rodda's Voldemort.
the shadow lord has this nasty mutated looking creatures called Ak-Baba.
They are kinda a cross between vultures and reptiles.
So basically a big scaly bird, with sharp teeth.
There are 7 of them (may be a bit more, can't remember at the moment.)
Ak-Baba are about the same size as an average sized dragon.
Considering the Deltorain Dragons are intelligent and magical creatures, the shadow lord wants them gone.
Why?
He can't control them with his magic, and it pisses him off.
When he can't control something he destroys it, simple as that.
So he sends his Ak-Baba out to gang up on the dragons one by one.
In hopes to save them. A Dragon Lover. called Doran convinces one of each breed of dragon to go into a dormant sleep, to prevent them going into extinction.
Again, there are no masturbating dragons, this is a PG rated book.
OK, thanks Elanna Riddle, but I still have some questions:
Why does that Bardock guy keep going on about the dragons masturbating if it doesn't happen? That's a bit weird, isn't it? Are you sure they don't masturbate even a little?
Also, why does Doran have sex with the dragons if the book is PG-13 rated? Are the sex scenes graphic, or does it just say they cuddled?
Finally, why does Evil Lord Shadow Brown Stone keep having sex with dead bodies? It it because he's a doctor?
I have read the books about 12 times each.
There is no sex scenes there is no masturbating dragons...
Doran is a HUMAN!! He is what you call one of those dragonologist people. An expert on dragons... he studys them. While he was studying them, they became friends.
the Shadow Lord (Not Evil Lord Shadow Brown Stone... or whatever) does not have sex with dead bodies... he isn't a doctor, he is an evil dark lord, who has magical powers.
Just like Saron, Voldemort, Emperor Palapitine... etc.
Again i repeat, THERE ARE NO SEX SCENES!!!

In the book, does it say why the dragons are banned from masturbating? To me, it seems a little hypocritical that humans are allowed to masturbate furiously, but dragons are not. Also, seeing as Doran has so many dragon friends, has he ever tried to stand up for their rights, and change the law so they (the dragons) can masturbate? From my point of view, if he was a true friend, then he would say something, don't you think?
Finally, if the Evil Lord Shadow is so magical, why does he need so many dead bodies? You say he doesn't have sex with them, which leaves the question: What does he do with them? I think it deserves some further exploring, don't you?
One more thing, if that Bardock guy hasn't read the book, why does he know so much about all these masturbating dragons?
are you guys just doing this one purpose...or are you clearly not understanding our words? This book is for little kids ranging from ages 7 and up. the books are in elementary schools....where LITTLE KIDS can read them! there is no masturbating...no sex scenes...no mention of any of these what so ever!!!! and one more thing....NOT ALL BOOKS REVOLVE AROUND PEOPLE/THINGS DOING THE NASTY!!!
