Loved it, just finished. Such a twisty plot, somethings I'd had already guessed but others, just wow, really caught me by surprise.
I am appalled by anyone who says 'Forget reading the HP books, I'll just see the movie.' The book are a damn good read and make the movies look like mud plot wise.
so what did you do...
I lined up at dymocks at 9am (which is when it opens) got my book at 9:30 and started reading as soon as we got in the car and drove home.
So minus the hours worth of chores and supply gathering before I continued to capture two. (which I got up too in the car btw)
I started up again at 10:45 and with my supplies (water bottle and snacks) snuggled up in bed and started to read. finished at about 5:30pm that same day. (minus the toilet breaks, refilling my drink bottle, my dad opening my door every half hour to ask "Is he dead yet!" and mum coming in with my lunch cause she knew i wouldn't budge till I'd finished)
So all in all it took me.... approximatly 7 hours to finish it.
I'm proud of myself....
Word of advice people, don't do several hours you are prepared to... for the concequences or have a very high reading stamina.
reason for this warning... my left eye started twitching and watering as I reached page 500 out of 607
(but that was probally because I was hardly blinking during those last pages...)
I walked into target around midday. Bought it there, did a little extra shopping, got home around...4 ish, read from then till 2, with a 2-3 hour break in the middle, slept till 9 and finished at midday. Will definitely read it again after my girlfriends done with it.
I swear the people who died.... really caught me by surprise.
