The Masked Ones, when Lief had Bede's Adult mask on, and Jasmine was trying to rip it off, his face, before midnight.
I think Jasmine dragged an unconscious Lief, into a small cave or something similar, and the Kree led Steven who had found Barda on the road, under a small sleeping spell cast by the masked ones, to stop him chasing after them. And Jasmine must of spoken with Lief, in Steven's caravan(the back section, where they hid in Return to Del.) while Barda was still asleep.
