Hey every1, i haven't been on in a long time,
can't wait to see what the anime movie would be like but i still would rather see it with real people
Hey everyone
I saw the Tales of Deltora book in a store a couple of days ago.
I managed to flick through it.
And guess what....
There. Is. A. Picture. OF ADIN IN IT!!!!
{squeal}
I am one of those people who like art. I look at Yugi-Oh cards souly for the animation on it.
Okay, other stuff i picked up by flicking through the pages(while showing my mum, trying to hint what i want for xmas).
- It was written by Josef
- Tells the stroy of the sorceror metioned in the DoD series
- Tells Adin's story(by the looks of it, every little detail)
- Has chapters
- Story about girl with golden hair.
-story of Pirran Pipe (has a pic of Pirra, when it was prettiful, looks like a fairy-tale land)
- Has a story about Gorl (remember him for forests of silence)
- and a load of other strories of people never mentioned in the books. And mabye a few from the books i missed.
And sorry i don't know when it comes out in the US, casue I'm in Aust.
But you got HP4 movie out before us.... so i guess where even.
BTW, I may not be on for a while.... lots of stuff happening at school.
Formal is tomorrow, and graduation is next friday....
So see ya when I see ya
Actually Elanna I got the Tales of Deltora and it doesn't have the story about the girl with the golden hair and the story about Gorl is actually the story on how Adin gets the Diamond and the gold knight in the picture is Glock's ancestor, Greel.
A few other things in the book are:
- The origins of the Ak-Baba.
- More or less how Deltora came to be, and I'm talking about WAY before Adin.
- The beginnings of the Masked Ones.
I would put more but I don't want to ruin it for the rest.
I said this by looking at the pictures and never said it was like that.... all i said that from what i saw from the pictures of this book so those who haven't seen it or haven't got access to buying it yet, could have something to look forward too....
I thank-you for your correction. But as mentioned, I only had about 2 minutes with this book, showing my mum, so my statement earlier shouldn't be taken as an accurate description of the book.

hey krystaldragon, is it hard to be on Elfwood, im thinking about joining
I am gonna have to go pick up that book.........
Azure, its a bit hard to join elfwood, cuz they have a mess of rules and before you join they give you like a quiz on the rules, so, as long as you study up on them u will be fine, and its not hard after that, just the posting of the pictures which can take more then a week cuz they check them to make sure you haven't broken the trademark rules. I guess they don't want to get sued....LoL but yea, its fun.
any news on the Del Anime any1?

Oh no! I wasn't having a go at you about it I was just clearing it up a bit, sorry if I offended you in anyway.
You didn't offend me.
And I was Christmas shopping again today so I got another look. I got confused with the golden girl thing, cause theres a pic near the start of her and a dragon..... near Josef's forward I think.
Ah, okay then.
Yeah thats around where it is, but then its also what confuses me. In the 'note from Josef' chapter it says that scholars dismissed the Tenna birdsong tales as fairy tales, but then it says that they were possibly correct about some tales like 'The Girl with the Golden Hair' but that most of the tales actually had a lot to do with Deltora's history. But didn't the girl with the golden hair tale tell them how to find the lost Pirran tribes and since it did why did Josef say that it was just a children's tale and not part of Deltora's 'secret' history?
Probably because it sounded so unbelievable.... I mean, Kin where considered to exist only in fairytale.... and maybe cause there was no real proof of the girl with golden hair, they dismissed it as fantasy, besides.... who says Lief told Josef that some of the Pirrans he met were decedents of the Golden haired girl.
(If it looks as if I've made absolutely no sense, let me know cause while rereading this it confesses even me)
