What's Deltora Quest? it cant be better than Dragonlance
Okay... Deltora Quest... (prepares for speech)
🪩 Ahem...
Deltora Quest is a 3 part series of a fantasy/mystery/adventure story, written by Australian Author, Emily Rodda.
Each Series has a different Quest in which the main characters follow.
The first series, is commonly refereed to as the "Belt of Deltora" Series.
It involves 8 books.
The Quest involves, finding/reclaiming the magical talismans/gems of the Belt.
That is the adventure part.
The Mystery is who and where the Heir of Deltora is. For the Heir must wear the Belt to rid the land of evil threatening it.
And the fantasy is plainly the magic, and evil monsters and junk.
The Second Series involves the same, main characters going on a Quest to free prisoners, who's lives are in danger across the boarder.
This is the Shadowlands series.
It only consists of 3 books.
This series also involves a magical item. The Pirran Pipe. Which was separated between the 3 tribes of the Pirrans, over 1000 years ago.
The third and final series(at present), involves destroying these evil magical beings that are sucking the life out of the land, making it so everything is dying.
These evil beings, are called the 4 Sisters. In which, this series is sometimes called the Sister Series.
But as the Deltorain Dragons are involved it can be known as the Dragon Series. (I personally like calling it the Sister Series)
Along with the actual story, there are two side books, that help you understand the story.
These two books(one actually mentioned in the 3rd series)
Is the "Deltora Book of Monsters" and "Tales of Deltora."
The first books speaks for itself.
Tales of Deltora, is in a sense a history book. Basically giving you insight on "How the belt was made?" "The Pirran Pipe"... "Where the evil sorcerer trying to take over Deltora came from..."
And so on....
I hope this has helped anyone reading this thread... who doesn't know what Deltora Quest is....
Some of you may find this less creative then my last installments, but i got sick of having writer's block, just cause i couldn't decide on the flippin titles for the magical weapons. So I decided to screw thinking it through, and just wing it.

Last Time.....
‘Typical, when in crisis always she finds refuge in a book’ thought Ami. Luke went to help Sam, whereas Ami sank into a chair, and stared at the ceiling.
“I FOUND IT!!”
Ami jerked awake and slipped out of her chair. She looked around. Remembering where she was.
She was in the Toran City Library. It was now nightfall. So she guessed she fell asleep and slept most of the day.
“Found what?” she yawned.
Luke and Sam looked up at her. “Sorry we woke you Ami” said Luke.
“How long have I been asleep?”
“About 4 hours, to the minimum, Which is expected of course… after what you’ve just been though in the last few days you hardly had any time for sleeping well.” Said Sam.
Ami sighed. That was true.
“So what did you find?”
“Something that could protect us… and the Heir, when he or she is found from the Shadow Lord.”
“And what exactly could do that besides the Belt of Deltora?”
“The Pirran Pipe for one, but traveling to the Pirran Islands would take to long, as the entrance isn’t determined.” Said Sam.
“Why not?”
“Because, it is a secret kept by the Royal Family. They would only allow us to gain the location, should we have to enter the Shadow Lord’s domain.”
“Right… so… what is this unknown form of magic that could save us… and perhaps the Heir.”
“3 magical weapons. The Sword of Courage, Bow of Magic and Crystal Staff of Wisdom. Each has apparently magical powers. They existed before the lands of Pirra and Deltora were fused together, due to continental drift.” Explained Sam.
“And why is that relevant?”
“They were lost in the earthquake. It’s historians speculate that, this is why the tribes didn’t mingle with those in other tribes. They were separated because of the conflict caused by the loss.”
“That…” started Luke. “Made absolutely no sense. But lets go looking for these items so we can save Ami, and Deltora, anyway."
Sam rolled her eyes. And continued. “If I separate Deltora into 3 parts I could find the most likely areas, where the items could be stashed.”
“And we could find them. Yeah we know Sam.” Said Ami.
Sam looked at the Map of Deltora
“Okay, judging by the weapons types used in old tribes… I’m going to say the Jalis and Del Tribes, were once joined and had in their possession the Sword of Courage. Dread Gnomes tend to use bows and the Torans magic, meaning the Bow of Magic. And that leaves the Mere, Ralad and Plains for the Crystal Staff.”
“Why the last three for the Staff?”
“Because I can’t see how they relate to the other two… I could be wrong, with the Staff and Bow. But I’m certain that the sword would be in either the Del or Jalis territory.”
“Whatever you say Sam… so which one do we go for first?” asked Ami.
“The Sword naturally. It’s the only one I’m certain of the location.”
“Which is?”
“Somewhere between Del and Jaliad.”
“That’s the Valley of the Lost.” Said Luke.
“Yeah, how’d you know that.”
“Geography is my best subject. That and PE.”
“But if it was in the Valley of the Lost, wouldn’t someone have found it?” asked Ami.
“The Valley has been a horrific place for centuries. First it was just monsters, and the Guardian of the Diamond. The only time people have ever gone in and lived to tell the tale, never bothered exploring it.”
“You sure know a lot.” Said Luke.
“In the past, the Torans, have been ignorant about life outside Tora. We study everything in history, so we will not repeat past mistakes.”
“Clever.”
“It is isn’t it….”
“Are you sure its in the Valley?” asked Ami.
“It’s a big valley.”
“Still, what about Lief, Jasmine and Barda?”
“They didn’t explore the entire Valley, only the area around the Guardian’s Palace. And the Torans, were in a trance like state, while imprisoned there. I’m guessing, it would be wedged between some clump of rocks that fell in the earthquake, before the 7 tribes.”
“I’ll take it we’re bringing a jackhammer then.”
