Should Deltora Quest become a Movie

They would have been translated into English.

I would LIKE then to do all of it no matter what.
But what they probally will do is do the first series, and see the ratings... it good, they'll do the next one.

Same with all shows...

Yeah your probably right about that, still at least Dread Mountain is in the first series, Vraal action, alright! You think they will throw in little side stories or something, to be honest I wouldn't mind if they did, as long as it didn't stray too far from the original storyline.

HAHA! Poor Curtis, Tales of Deltora still hasn't arrived on Britain's shores then? Honestly if you want it so bad just get it from Amazon or something.
Perhaps, Zane, but then they would have to use puppets or costume or CGI for things like the Vraal, Ralads, Glus and all the other monsters in Deltora. Real people would be too hard, having to look for real backdrops, and I refuse to watch something with terrible blue screen and dodgy monsters. In my book anime is better in this case, a feature film, with real people, of Deltora would be a different story, bigger budget means more realistic things....most of the time.

Ok good point but LOTR was with people and thats one of the best movies ever made

I agree.... with an anime series, they wouldn't be pushed for time exactly.... and they can have all the mini-quests, like the Rithmine Games.... and the Noradz plot. In a 2 hour movie... our little fav bits, that didn't exactly relate to the major story line... would be cut, which would suck!!
I'm not to worried about DQ becoming an anime, better then nothing.
But... I am particularly worried about the Ols. As in their true form.
You know the form, when they are like a flickering white flame or whatever.
I am terrified, it will look like a white blob on screen and look extremely funny.
Cause, it may sound scary in the book, but...on screen can change in completely.
So, thats my only problem, with it being anime.
Everything else, will be fine... I reckon.
I mean, they have a 6 foot golden knight, with a jumbo sword, a freaky eel-fish thing, etc.

Oh and I'll just say this quickly.
I'm sure most of you notice, we only discover the magical properties of the gems, through Lief's thoughts.
In a cartoon.... you can get away with hearing a persons thoughts easily.

Well yeah LOTR were great movies, but they had more money and better people working on it then your average TV show. Oh and I live in the Australia land.
I'm sure they could make OLs look freakishly scary, though it would depend on what age group they are targeting, don't want to scare all the little kiddies now do they?
Well yeah, in the case of the Gems properties there could easily be flashbacks or something.

and lotr was cheaper then most big budget movies because it was all shot in new zealand and a cast of unknown actors

Alright, but I still stand by my point, live action movies are done much better then live action TV, be it from more money, more time or better actors, in most cases anyway. So I would rather an anime Deltora series then a live action Deltora series.
You know I wouldn't of thought it would take this long for Tales of Deltora to come out over there.

i dont mind an anime either and one day if i become a film director and have a chance to direct the live action one
