Jesus spoke in Parrabels. HE spoke about a hell indirectly. Read John 11. It speaks about the prince of this world which is the devil and his kingdom which is hell. And the prophets like Isaiah were told about a hell by God who knows all things.
OK...I'll look it up again, but the"Prince of this world" is a synonym for human evils that pervade all life here.

You can take them in many different ways though.Their's also a lot of Pagan parrabels within the teachings of Christ.

OH!! So is THAT why Christians say lesbians are going to hell?! 😱
nah, sure God doesn't in every way shape or form support homosexuals, I don't think he is going to send them for hell it. Will he?...
And besides, I believe they meant it symbolically. Becuase to get to hell you must chose something earthly over God...

In that book "A Revelation of Hell" the author was quite serious that hell was shaped like a womans body and Jesus left him there to experience it. It's sold in Christian Book Stores...
It was quite gruesome.....detailed....sickHe must of been on drugs.
Don't call it Christian book stores, because the books that you find there are chosen by people at a head-office who make a opinion about what is christian or religious or relevant and many of those people are not even religious. You see that it how it goes, Christian Faith are judged by what people do, say and how they act, not by who God is and that is where things go wrong. I have seen New Age books in so called Christian bookstores, but that does not mean I am going to question my God for what ignorant people do.

It was a Christian book store...Dickson's, or something similar. If you see New Age or anyother beliefs listed in Christian book store, you can be sure that they are written with a slant...I've done comparisons myself. If you really want to learn what a different faith believes, you must go to THEIR own literature.
