If you ever become a writter what would you pen name be?
I love writting and I know if I got one of my books published My pen name would be Jackie Lewis!
Lewis is my mom's maiden name btw.What would your pen name be?
It can be any name you want.I think you don't have to use your real last name either.JM 💃
Why on earth do you want pen names? Are you ashamed of your own work? Man, I thought writing and publishing was something to be proud of.
Know how to figure out your pornstar name? You take the name of your dog as your first name (or cat or fish or bird or scaly green lizard or whatever) and you take your mother's maiden surname as your last name.
Mine would be Jock Bothma.
The problem is, sometimes if your well known (or fairly well known ) as a writer in one genre, its hard to be taken seriously in another.... also, it can get confusing for bookshops... which is why you'll often find Asimovs Black Widower tales under SF.... for myself, when i began writing adult fiction, i didn't want publishers to think, "oh dear.. a book by him... that'll be far too raunchy for our readers..." Also some of my junior fiction readers might see one of my more adult stories, and be shocked by what thety read... and I don't want that on my conscience... hence the pen names...
