Not sure. Raz has a few things planned for the forums, so I'm not positive where the move ranks just yet. It will happen, though.

Thats your personal opinion and if I were to use mine then I believe the same could be said for POTC and Harry Potter. The bottom line is that the Terminator forum deserves to be given a chance. If the "Animation/CGI" and "Foreign Films' forums can receive prominent placement then why can't the Terminator forum?

Because they are genres, ever expanding with new movies? The "Matrix" franchise is getting bumped to be in the "More Movie Franchises" forums, leaving a VERY SELECT few movies featured there. All but one of which with movies in production.

Aside from a little fan support, I still don't see why "Terminator" deserves it. The 4th franchise has nobody signed up for it, "T3's cast dropped out, and it's a lame duck from what I read. I've been all for giving it a *chance*, for whatever that is worth.

BTW, it'll be atleast a month before the move.

Still plenty of talking points around though.

A Message For Raz

Meister, you have stated yourself on previous occasions that you WOULD make the Terminator forum a proper one as soon as T4 got an entry on IMDB. Voila:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0438488/

Please, raz; no one can deny that the movie's been picking up a great deal of steam lately, and you really would be making a lot of people very happy if you were to grant this request. BUT, you're the meister - I leave it in your hands ...

Cheers,

Ahnold

That may be because the T4 film production is still going through what some people like to call the "casting phase" of it's production. Big budget productions similar to this one (ex. Spider-Man 2, X3, etc.) are almost always shrouded in mystery when it comes to subjects such as casting.

IMDB.com is far from reputable, and seeing as how "T4" has gone from re-signing the T3 cast to all of them dropping out, what "steam" has it been picking up? Honestly, guys? Denying such a claim is easy.

I've already told you guys, the "Terminator" forums are going to be featured in a "More Movies" forum in a month or so.

I'm aware of what a "casting phase" is, and it's usually not a mystery when it comes to sequels, seeing as how they usually incorperate people from the LAST installment to carry on a story, especially given Nick Stahl and Claire Danes were supposedly already signed on.

Now, "supposedly", they're off. There's no cast, apparently no script. What does that leave? I mean rah rah rah..go, Termy, go..the franchise is getting a bump. What more do you want for a lame duck movie?

..and those boards will continue to look like crap, allowing their users to have "signatures", which are anything but, that are excessive, gawdy, and down right unnecessary.

If they are "signatures", why aren't people's usernames displayed in the pictures? Again, don't expect any changes, and be grateful for what we're given for a change. If you don't appreciate the changes, then make like Hegemon and leave. All because you can't post some big picture below your post.

My original post which clearly wasn't meant for you by the way was simply meant to be humerous and silly at best. Although you still managed to quote that post and unfairly/unnecessarily use offensive/insulting comments towards me. "If you don't appreciate the changes, then make like Hegemon and leave. All because you can't post some big picture below your post."[I]

Well, bitching about it isn't going to do anything, and if people don't get what they want, they inevitably do one of two things. Give up, or leave. From the looks of it, nobodies going to let up, so how is pretty much calling peoples next move uncalled for?

Don't take it as me saying to literally LEAVE KMC, it's more so me trying to get across the point that nothing's going to change. I thought the tongue smilie would have gotten across that implication.

When exactly did I "bit*h" about the new signature limits? It seems that you should have directed your comments at someone who might have ACTUALLY done the "bitching" that you stated.

Don't. The thread was closed for a reason. The discussion regarding signature limits is OVER. Raz's word is final, and there will be no more appeasements, reassessments, or anything of the sort. Basically, you'll have to deal with it, or just not display a signature picture.

Back on topic, if you please.

I was NOT discussing the subject of signature limits or even discussing signatures in general. I was merely replying to your offensive/insulting comments.

Back on topic then,

Like I said, this isn't the place for it. You have an issue with me telling it like it is, PM me, not that I have anything else to say about it, really. You obviously took something that was generalized, personally.

Firstly, in terms of the "reputability" of IMDB, the important thing to remember is that, whatever we may think, raz considers it to be important {well, it IS the most comprehensive film webiste in the world ...}. With that in mind, I thought that I should inform him that T4 now has an entry there; he can make of that what he will. I just wanted to remind him of what he said a while ago {i.e. that the Terminator forum would become a proper one once T4 got an IMDB entry}.

I'll admit that, usually, the casting phase for a sequel is not a mystery {though it does sometimes happpen that a film's cast doesn't return for a follow up, admittedly with much less profile sequels}; however, I personally DO consider it progress that a decision has finally been made either way as to whether Stahl and Danes are coming back {bearing in mind that there was a great deal of confusion as to whether they were signed up for a sequel or not; apparantly they were, but they said that they weren't}. Accompanying this news was more detail about the proposed storyline for T4 {i.e. that it will be set a number of years after T3, and THAT'S why Stahl and Danes had to drop out}; this info in itself suggests that at least some progress is being made with the script. In addition, news has recently emerged about a potential director for the fourth entry {Kurt Wimmer} and about the possible inclusion of Michael Biehn. That isn't "picking up steam" to you? We've heard more about T4 in the last month than we have in the last two years!

T4 may currently be a "lame duck" movie, but I hardly feel that this a big, sweeping change. At the end of the day, the Terminator forum will still be a sub-forum; it'll just be placed under a more logical category. All of us are campaigning for a proper forum on par with, say, the James Bond forum. Raz has said it WILL happen one day; we just want it to be sooner rather than later.

maybe it wouldnt.. but guess what... it does.

jesus christ ppl no kidding, of those 33 ppl who voted yes, I bet 5% of them actually post in the terminator forum, 50% of them prolly wont EVER post there another 20 will forget... Raz will most likey bumb the forum to the main page when he sees changes

so FilmProphet get ppl to post in the terminator forum... make changes and he will take u more seriously 😬

You realise how hard this is when hardly anyone can even SEE the forum.
