The Big Lebowski is good. But everything except for John Goodman is nothing special, IMO. I just think it's incredibly overrated.
As for True Romance, I suppose I should've liked it, I'm a huge Tarantino and Walken fan. It just didn't cut it for me. Everything was just mediocre.
I was never really a Tony Scott fan. It was very unmemorable.
A lot of The Dude's dialogue in 'The Big Lebowski' had me laughing pretty well. John Goodman's funny moments are of course the best, but there are several kinds of humor in the movie in large amounts. I laugh at almost all of them. Funny movie with an unusually good plot for a comedy.

I would have much rather had QT have his way with True Romance. I like his way of telling the story out of chronological order. From my resources, the original script was re-chopped up and put back into place. I love the cast, but I don't think Walken had much to do with it. If I remember right, Walken had one scene where he interrogated Hopper.
Plus, Tony Scott isn't my bag, baby. The only movie of his I really enjoyed was 'Man on Fire'.
Sorry for butting in, but I felt like sharing.

I tried to watch Domino the other day, but it was absolutely terrible.
I have a little hope for Deja Vu though.
Watched:
Waking Life - ****ing crazy. The biggest mind **** movie I've ever seen. It was pretty great. I suppose I'd like it more if I could understand everything they were saying, but some stuff just didn't make sense.
Hmm. The visuals of "Domino" may have turned people off, but the story was great. I loved it, personally. I just love stylish cinematography, as opposed to boring old pans and zooms.
As for "Waking Life", it's the most pretentious movie I think I've ever seen. A bunch of weird existentialism that made me roll my eyes a few times before turning it off. I consider myself intellectual, but some people read too much into life in general. The style was unique, and I look forward to seeing " A Scanner Darkly", shot the same way, but I'll never watch "Waking Life" again.
I don't know how anyone couldn't like Scott's "Top Gun", though.
Pretty in Pink - Pretty good. It wasn't a typical teen rom-com and that's what I liked about it. Duckie annoyed me though.
Scary Movie - I gave this another try. I still hate the vulgar jokes in it. The stoner jokes still aren't funny. There were actually about two scenes I did like. The tasteful material just wasn't properly executed.
