What do you think of Layer Cake Cine?

Last film I watched was L' Appartement again, love this film.

I was pretty unimpressed with "Layer Cake". Style over cliche gangster substance in this one, IMO.

"Ong Bak" was even more so. Some great athleticism wrapped in a tired story with bad, bad acting and typical action movie cinematography. "Bloodsport" came to mind way, way too much. Right down to a Bolo looking henchman.

I was cringing at the performance by Sally Hawkins(slasher) in Layer Cake, she was totally wasted in this film when she is normally a good actress here in England on television.
