Uhhh....adding a filter over parts does not count as Photoshopping, I'm sorry to inform....it counts as clicking a single button. Photoshopping something means you put a decent amount of work into it to make it look totally different than it did originally.

Sorry, but I spend a lot of time Photoshopping things (like, really working at it), and so it annoys me - and pretty much any other photomanipulator - when someone uses a filter and says they Photoshopped it.

No point in taking a class, you won't learn anything beyond filters. Best way to learn the hard stuff is to figure it out yourself.
