Well, to be fair, it wasn't Wal-Mart that said you'd have to make your wife and child walk through the rain. You could have gone without the game if you were really worried about them getting wet.
I thought of that at the moment...believem. I strongly contemplated the thought of just giving up on it...but I have too much pride. It was when I bought my Xbox 360 and they were very rare in stock.
I am a gamer.
I asked her, "So, you are going to make my wife drive up here, in the rain, just to prove a point?" Here response was, "Yup, I don't think you look over 17 and you can't provide proof of age." She seemed to be snobbish about the game I was buying as if I was a low life buying porn or something. I think she was one of those arrogant Christian people who do everything they can to make other's lives miserable for things that go against their beliefs. I am sure that you, as a homosexual, have been the recipient of that kind of shit.
To continue, I wouldn't have any games to play on the brand spankin' new 360 when I went home for the weekend. I didn't have a drivers license because my son lost mine when he got into my wallet and I forgot to search my apartment and the in-laws for it before I left...I didn't think I would be mistaken for younger than 17 when I left for Wal-mart.
I really didn't have to have my wife come up there...but that lady was so damned sure that "he's younger than 17" that she had to make a point and I was pissed.
That was just the first half of the story. I have a security feature on my checking account that checks for anomalous purchases. My account had never had a purchase over $200 at one time and the game, 360, and some other items came to a total over $450. My check card (debit card as some call it) was declined with a security warning. So my wife had to come up there anyway to buy everything on her account.
That is a long ass story to be telling someone who doesn't want to "hear" my life's stories anyway. I apologize if this story pisses you off.
