Well, the use of finger painting probably wasn't on the exams either; I doubt you'd find the use of such in a paragraph proper.

"Walter's cat likes to *big red thumb smudge * watch the birds that fly *orange smear * by the window."

No apology necessary, I know you were simply making a point. I get carried away at times when it comes to English because it's always been one of my best skills and I assume others should have the same aptitude or at least care as much as I do about getting it damn near perfect. They don't, hence the frustration 😂

That, seriously, is awesome.

A fair few people do get pretty perfect scores on their GCSEs. I'm not sure how much you know about them, but it seems that you're putting them on a pedestal they most certainly don't deserve.

I was putting them on a similar footing to the English portion of the ACT.

I hate you. 😐

I never took the ACT but I suspect that I would NOT get a 36 on the English portion.

The trouble is that they aren't similar, though. They're both tests, but that's pretty much where the similarity ends, it's a bit like me saying that Greece and France are similar because they're both in Europe.

Actually, the English portion of the ACT is relatively easy. srug

I've just done some sample questions, you're right, it really is very easy.

It was the only portion of the ACT I could do well on, so it must have been easy. shrug

Of my class of approximately 600 students, only one student scored higher than I on the ACT. He received a perfect score, I missed one question in Mathematics, and my friend, Josh, missed one question in English.

That she did so well. Don't you think?

I was referring to the English portion of the GCSEs. Not the entire thing. The GCSEs are much more comprehensive and have a much greater range of testing than the ACT. I am not too sure how difficult it is but I would assume it is harder than the ACT.

That is REALLY awesome. I only know of ONE person who got a perfect score -1 question.........he became a bio-chemist and is really smart. Did that get you a scholarship?

They're different in a number of ways. For example, no GCSE is multiple choice, the English GCSE is a double award, so you get one qualification for literature and one for language, there'll be less questions but most are essay based.
The ACT doesn't seem hard at all, then again I didn't find GCSEs hard either, I don't know many people who did. I suppose it's down to individual differences.

You are probably correct since I have taken neither. I am not a good test taker. If I don't finish the test within 20 minutes I cannot concentrate anymore. I would probably suck on both of them without medication.

I apologize to everyone for continually derailing this thread. I like you guys and I like to get to know you through conversation. I will post some pictures tonight of my ugly ass mug to redeem my naughtiness.

Post those shirtless and in underwear shots you sent me, AdamP wanted to see those and you played hard-to-get.

them some fly ass 24's, Nazzy!!! 😱

This is the most recent photo of my wife...I think. I love playing with her hair and she doesn't mind either.

This was taken on Easter, of course. I had to convince my son that it was a good idea to pose in a picture for mommy. The bunny ears were the wife's idea.

This was taken when my wife and I went on our last date...like over a month ago. 🙁

This is a cake I made and decorated for my son's birthday. Twas the first cake I ever made and decorated. 😮

Jesus is watching you, son. You had better think twice before kicking that ass.

Your kids are cute 😊

Yeah, your kids are very cute and your wife pretty. Cute family.
