Bill Hicks was an utter genius. Go read his entry at Wikipedia. Probably the best one I've yet to read.

Also recieved "Scanners" and "eXistenZ" in the mail today. To my surprise, it was the Alliance Canada "eXistenZ" with Cronenberg commentary and featurette, which the US R1 doesn't have. 😊

saw II

^^ Hey, coincidence! Bought Saw II off of my neighbor for 5 dollars............he hated it, and I kinda liked it. Nothing spectacular, but loads better than the first Saw. He bought it used, and so I bought it, umm.......pre-pre-used????

I blind bought Brokeback Mountain used for 12.99. Pretty good movie, IMO, but overhyped. Also bought Mystery Men used for 7.99. Great flick, cuz its so cheesy. I need to stick to buying titles from my wishlist, cuz Ive been kinda straying as of late.

I don't think "Brokeback Mountain" was overhyped for what it SHOULD have been promoted for, being the storyline, and not the gay cowboy bullshit. I think Heath Ledger was robbed of an Oscar win for best actor by the Academy's favoritism, by a guy who just had to be a little more nasaly than usual, and be effeminate.

My last DeepDiscount purchase for a while...

Sisters (Criterion) - $16.49
Switchblade Sisters - $5.99
