Agreed. The Tall Man is up there with the other horror icons of the '70s-'80s. I'll have to check out the sequel, I've been hesitant on that. Are 3 and 4 worth watching too?

its worth watching, but it hasnt got the atmosphere of the original. it just cannot be topped. phantasm is a unique original experience.

i wont say avoid the other 2 sequels but they aint as good. part 3 is too campy. part 4 was decent but i found myself losing interest.

you might aswell buy the boxset, it is very cheap now.

yeh i enjoyed it alot. quite creepy and atmospheric, but another stupid ending ruined it though imo.

There's no box set in R1. Phantasm: OblIVion is the only one still in print. And I already have the first one.

I'll find a video store that carries the second one though.

get the region 2 boxset. its easy to tune your dvd player to play all regions
