How is Dark City? I've been meaning to watch that.
Depending on your taste you'll prob either love it or hate it. It's atypical, so i really liked it. The cinematography, atmosphere, special effects are awesome. Worth checking out... Plus Jennifer Connelly is in it and she is smokin'!

Some people consider the special where he received honors for 40 years in comedy as a special. He was honored by fellow comedians, and did a segment on "Advertising Lullaby".I plan to buy the next George Carlin DVD set. I never planned to buy "All my stuff" dvd box set, knowing full well that George had more comedy to sling before his very tragic death. And you know full well that there will be a re-release of all of his acts on box set now that he is gone.
I knew about the next special too but I didn't mind getting All My Stuff. I knew I was going to have to keep George's Best Stuff for the Place for my Stuff bit to have the complete Carlin. So one more special wasn't going to hurt.

Is the 40 Years in Comedy on DVD? And what is it? Several comedians or just Carlin?
From Wiki:
"George Carlin: 40 Years of Comedy was comedian George Carlin's tenth HBO special. It aired live from the Wheeler Theater in Aspen, Colorado as part of the US Comedy Arts Festival. Unlike Carlin's other stand-up specials, this special contains only 27 minutes of stand-up performance. The rest of the special is a retrospective celebrating Carlin's 40th anniversary in entertainment featuring clips of his television appearances and an interview with host Jon Stewart. Some of Carlin's material was repeated in his next special You Are All Diseased."
I enjoyed it. A nice detour from his act to get to know the side story.
