Inside does not have a 20min scene of bashing a girl, picking her up, and bashing her back down. Martyrs glorifies misogyny and is a stupid movie. I'm not stupid for picking up on the real meaning of Martyrs. And the director obviously hates women.
Martyrs is a wrong movie and you are wrong if you like it.
There is no misogyny in the slightest(I'm female and didn't feel this at all), and saying it glorifies it is quite odd. Yes there is a 20 or so minute scene of torture and the victim happens to be female but did you fail to follow the actual story and the reasoning for it... If you are going by that, then Inside, directed and written by men, goes in that direction too, yet you praise Inside to kingdom come... I know it's a woman doing the attacking but it's out of a man's head.
It's not a wrong movie, and it's not wrong to like it, you can say it's wrong if you enjoy seeing the victims go through it and take pleasure in that, and I didn't.
