Recent Blu-ray/DVD Purchases

The last DVDs I bought was a while back and it was Batman:The Movie (can't beat Adam West!) and a Batman TAS DVD with some episodes I hadn't seen.

I tend to get rid of a lot of DVDs rather than buy too many...

Eddie Murphy: Delirious and Raw
Family Guy Vol. 2

Pitch Black - upgraded from dvd to blu-ray, the cinematography/art direction in this film is amazing, so has to be seen in blu ray.

Oz seasons 4 and 5. picked them up today,

Oz season 6.
black dynamite.
daybreakers.
the losers.

Stanley Kubrick - A Life In Pictures
Eyes Wide Shut
Band of Brothers (series)

Catherine Keener film PLEASE GIVE. I'd recommend checking it out. Very well written. The whole cast is great. I enjoyed Oliver Platt and Amanda Peet in particular.

Shameless: Session 3

I've been out of control lately, picking up all kinds of deals at Big Lots and Walmart and online....

Most recent additions:

Darjeeling Ltd (Criterion)
Thin Red Line (Criterion)
License To Drive
Bullitt
Bridge On The River Kwai
The Tenant

The Boondocks: Season 3
The Pacific
How To Train Your Dragon

Harry Potter 1-6 (got 'em cheap, it was Amazon's deal of the day)

They usually go cheap when the new film is released since the box set will be out once again to add in the 7th film. I mean the blu-ray box set is only £24 for six whole Harry Potter films. Bet when the last film is finally released on DVD/Blu-ray they will go all out and do lovely box sets.

Gamera 1 & 2 double feature blu-ray

Eat Pray Love & Pillars of The Earth - Both books originally. Both great adaptations.

Yeah, that makes sense.

I'm not a big enough fan or patient enough to wait for the final box set, though. And it was so cheap!

Toxic Avenger
They Live

Bill Hicks DVD with three of his live shows - what a legend.
