I wouldn't buy it for $1, personally. 😂I barely made it through that, then made the mistake of following it up with "Alien Apocalypse". Anchor Bay has a ard-on for Bruce Campbell, regardless of how terrible his movies are.
I really liked the special feature with Bruce Campbell going over the process since 1986 on trying to get this movie made.
You didn't care for Bubba Ho-Tep either, huh?

I caught it on the Sci-Fi Channel and found it pretty funny. I especially liked the scene when he's fighting over which drink to drink first.I really liked the special feature with Bruce Campbell going over the process since 1986 on trying to get this movie made.

I just thought Ted Raimi's character was embarassing to watch. B.C. just bumbled through the whole movie, so I thought. Sci Fi and pulp noir don't mix, especially with comedy.
"Bubba Ho-Tep" I haven't seen in about a year, but I saw it twice before, and don't remember liking it, being turned off by the barrage of "pecker" jokes that were incredibly old after a while.

But can't you get it on DVD Empire for 12 dollars or something?
DVDAficionado.com price search will show DVDEmpire as having it for $11.88, but to the right of it, the price is GRAY not BLUE, meaning it's out of stock, namely because it's been OOP for about 4 years now.

Hmmm... I didn't find the "pecker" jokes too overwhelming. I found it funny when he would include it in a conversation having nothing to do with what he was talking about.

I would probably agree with you about Ted Raimi if his and Stacy Keach's accents weren't so bad (funny). I know it isn't exactly one of the best indy movies of all time but it I found it very funny and worth the $10.Hmmm... I didn't find the "pecker" jokes too overwhelming. Stacy Keach looked a lot like Dr. Logan from "Day of the Dead" in parts. Far cry from his Mike Hammer days, that's fo' shizzle.
