It was actually an impulse buy. I saw it in Walmart's $5.50 bin. I had never seen it before. I went to Universal Studios Hollywood this last summer and saw a Waterworld show which I thought was pretty cool. So I figured, if they made a show based on it, and the show was good, the movie has to be good too, right?

It wasn't bad. I enjoyed it.

Fletch (Found a copy at Wal Mart to replace my old one)

What was wrong with your old one?

or did you sell your old one?

I bought it used, in playable, but "good" condition. It's OOP, and was going for $40 on eBay. I got one for $10, then Wal Mart miraculously procured a few thousand copies for their Universal Studios $4.88 bin. I grabbed a fresh new one to replace mine. They're still OOP, and "Fletch" being made available again is a complete mystery.

Won "Zombie Holocaust" tonight for $5.50. I saw the trailer for it on the "Zombi 2" Shriek Show release and had to have it.

What I've seen is when Walmart comes up with their copies of OOP DVDs in their $5 bins, they mysteriously come back into print soon after.
