😮 HEY, I'm looking for an 80s movie that I saw when I was like 10, It starts off with this girl singing to Corey Hart's, "Sunglasses at Night," and then she finds out her father died, so her and her mom move to a new town and she goes to a camp where she acts like a boy half the time so she can play keyboard in a boys band and then she does a baton dance with her best girlfriend the other half. So I've always wanted to find out the title because I am lame brained and forgot although I have watched it about 1000x. So if anyone can help, I would be very much thankful. It's like a preteen movie, not really for young kids but not really for adults. I wasn't high budget or anything. Thanx!!!

I think the movie you are thinking of is called Don't be afraid of the Dark. It starred Kim Darby, I believe. There are lots of little creatures that live in the house. It was made for TV but was very creepy.

the story is about a man that have power that can cure people, the setting is like those previous time in england. The treatment that this man using is a bit strange, he tells every patient to holds hand together with him in a circle, all patient then seems like suffer.... and i remember there is a beautiful blind young lady. This man's philosophy could not accepted by the society on that time. He also asked to cure a prince, i guess.. i remember one scene is the bloods pouring wall when he cure. If i not mistaken the title should be in a words only, may be is the man name. What is the title?

Ah damn, i know exactly what movie you are talking about but i cannot remeber the name either... this is going to have me thinking all day... errrg****... i cant post links because im not "well known" yet but there is a site that you can go and its another forum of a bunch of movie junkies im sure they would know.

Ok, help me and a co-worker out here. We're trying to think of a SCI-FI movie...it's in color, don't know the approximate year. The scene we believe is the beginning of the movie.

SCENE:
Mission control is looking watching video of a lunar rover....they are trying to determine if there is life on this particular planet (unknown if it's Mars or not). You see the footage of the planet, your basic desolation. They determine that there is no life on this particular planet and turn off the rover. The scene then switches to the planet, the camera pulla back from the rover so that you can see over the lip of a crater/canyon and there is a bustling city with obvious alien technology/life.

We are pretty sure it is a comedy sci-fi. Please help, this has been vexing us for months. Thanks.

To be fair, the information is readily available by using the search feature at the IMDb. They're the ones who have done the real leg work.

In this case, having Corey Hart's name made it much easier. There are only four movies for which he is credited on the soundtrack, and that happened to be one of them.

That scene sounds awfully familiar. Could it be from "Rocket Man" (1997)?

i think i can help you. The Movie your looking for is MY FAVORITE MARTIAN (In Germany: My Uncle from Mars) starring Christopher Lloyd (Great Actor, and a Living Legend since Back to the Future).
It´s a Remake of a 60´s TV Series with Bill Bixby.

🙁 hi all,hope some one can help me. there are two movies i am trying to find the names of.the first one is a sci-fi come super hero film,i was sure it was called the gyver but cant find it on the net.the second one is an early jackie chan film.all i remember of it is at one point in the film he gets over a wall by running between a tree and the wall,and in another sceen he is searching a house when the ladie owner comes home and jackie (who is holding a tourch in his mouth)pulls the tourch into his mouth to hide the light just as the owner rushes to the toilet.ever hopeful. Sounds a little like one of his "Police Story" movies from the 80's.
