Robocop 1&2

Tsk, tsk, Solo! "Robocop" is a trilogy as well. However, "Robocop 3", Peter Weller was replaced by Robert Burke. 🤓

Too many of these are wrong...

Star Wars- Does the phrase "a long time ago" mean anything to you?
Astronaut's Wife- That movie's just plain weird, not futuristic
The Core- Stupid, no future stuff
Underworld- nope
Labyrinth- Set in another dimension
28 Days Later- Nope
Resident Evil- nope
Back to the Future- only partially

Add-ons:
Jason X
Alien movies

All I can think of

Flight of the Navigator?

"Flight of the Navigator" was BTTF, Jr.

"Star Wars", yikes. "A long, long time ago, in a...", sure. But what year was it set in originally, the date in which the story was being told, and when the story originally took place?

It was in another galaxy, it doesn't count

Judge Dredd
Mission To Mars
john carpenter's Ghosts Of Mars
Armageddon?
