No 'Q' For Bond 21?

no Q no Moneypenny can they ruin bond more?

Q-LESS: The upcoming Casino Royale will present a completely new version of Agent 007, and not just because it's Daniel Craig's debut. Tracing the spy's not-so-super beginnings, the franchise's 21st entry will open with a black-and-white prologue, depict James Bond's first two hits — one of which goes awry and is thus "very messy" — and show him earning his license to kill, ultimately leading to "the emotionally shut-down beautiful machine that Bond has become," director Martin Campbell told reporters this week. What's more, Royale will feature neither Q nor Moneypenny, and will employ only "a little bit of gadgetry." Sounds like Q has been replaced by Zzzzzz.

Good. Maybe we'll get a story this time instead of a moronic orgy of special effects. You know, sort of like the books they're supposed to be based on. Well, maybe you know. Assuming you read books.

I can understand toning the gadgets and such down, but come on, they're really screwing this up. They could accomplish a toned down and more realistic script by doing this with the following "problems":

Moneypenny - Ok, so its Bond before he was Bond. What do you do? Show Moneypenny at the end, first getting her job. Brief cameo at the end where they flirt with each other. That way you keep her in there but its just an introduction.

Q and the gadgets - Simply don't give Bond invisible cars and such. Bond needs some gadgets though, its a staple of the films. He needs stuff that we don't have. The watches for instance, are awesome, and aren't too unrealistic.

Felix - does he need to be black just to make the film have a black guy so people don't complain? Ridiculous. I hate them for doing that, and no I'm not racist at all, I have no hatred towards black people, I just hate it when people cave in to these ridiculous things, and/or change the race of characters because of that. Felix is white, not black, don't screw up anymore with this.

M - should've been a man, not the previous female M if its a prequel basically.

I'm gonna be pissed if they don't even do the opening gunbarrel sequence.

i hate the newer movies because all they relly on is special effects, so you dont need to be a smart ass to me. I just feel they are gonna screw this one up majorly and still have special effects galore.

Wait, they're making Felix Leiter black? That's ... odd.

And no, I don't need to be a smart-ass; it's a life-style choice.

Q wasn't in Live and Let Die and the movie still worked.

Just remember, 'Never Say Never Again' was decent without the usual beginning and without Q. Although M being the same old b!tch despite it being a prequel makes no sense. I'm more angry about that than anything else they've changed.

I'm most angry about Craig, he can't even drive standard for god's sake.

I don't understand. They'll skip out on Q and Moneypenny due to it being a prequel, but still have Judi Dench, a female, the latest, as M? Are the producers smoking crack?
